All Oromo’s and all Oromo Organizations.
Dear/sirs
Concerning Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis
Prof. Megalommatis has full right to write about the problems of the
Oromos; even more so as we haven't any free media in
Ethiopia whereby even the VOA
reporters who happen to be Oromo ethnics are fired and even expelled
from the country like the great and well known journalists, namely
Namoo Dandi (Dhabba Wayeesa),
Jalanee Gamada,
Zalalem Gemachu ,
Mahamad Nuri',
Niwamin Bikila,
Nugusu Tamre,
Tujube Hora (who all worked for VOA).
Similarly, the freelance journalists who greatly contributed to
their mission, namely
Abdisa Abera Wancif Journal Editor
Eyob G/I/ Bayisaa, Sefenabalbal Editor
Abrham Tezera, Sefenabalbal Assitant Editor
Garuma Bekele Urij Editor
Tesfaye Dheressa, Bakalcha editor
Solomon Nemera,
Bafaqadu Morda (Xomar Editor),
Isreal Saboka, Sefenabalbal founder
notably the Ethiopian Television News Director Dhabessa Wakjira, and
also
Shifarw Insarmu, Andualem Gemeda, Dasu Dula, Mohamad ( ) Lemlem
Fanta,Simegn Tesso, and others hundreds of Oromos were forced to
exile in order to stop reporting on the troubles and the sufferings
of the subjugated and terribly persecuted Oromo Nation.
Ethiopia is the country whereby even VOA journalists are not safe to
report free information about our great Oromo Nation.
Today, when the Amhara and
Tigray nations have their reporters
hired by the VOA, approximately 50 millions of Oromos are being
refused to have one Oromo reporter hired by VOA.
This is the reason that pushed Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin
Megalommatis to contribute to the American
Chronicle numerous articles in order to inform troubles and
the persecution of the Oromo Nation.
The entire Oromo Nation respects Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin
Megalommatis more than any other scholar and journalist, and we
quote him and republish his articles about Oromo History, Religion,
Politics and International Relations.
He does in fact represent the National Oromo Interests in all
international media.
For more than 130 years, since the fall of the Oromo kingdoms and
states, "history" was written by the Abyssinians (Habashas) and
their lies, falsehood, fallacy and perversion were exposed by only
one person: Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Meglommatis.
50 millions of Oromo have great respect and love for this innocent
person who is dedicated to free work without being supported
financially by any Oromo, any other tyrannized nation, and any
government.
When we are voiceless in today's world, when we are ignored by the
UN, the EU, the USA or the AU, when we are neglected by all
international organizations and mass media, Prof. Megalommatis
became willingly our voice. Today, in this world, who remembers the
Oromos in another way if not through reading Prof. Megalommatis's
articles in the American Chronicle?
Obang Metho, the Executive Director of Solidarity Movement for a
New Ethiopia (SMNE), writes nonsense against Prof. Megalommatis and
in fact, he does not represent either the Oromos or the tyrannized
nations of Gambella.
We know Obang Metho; he was one of the TPLF agents, and he
personally became the responsible for thousands of Anuak, Nuers and
Oromos killed under this administration. First of all, this man is
"live Ethiopia"; he is not ready for
fighting for Human Rights, and he moved to exile because of
fear due to his personal corruption and guilt against the nations in
the region.
Obang Metho has no right to say a single word against Prof.
Megalommatis or against American Chronicles
website.
